I just thought this was such a wonderful image. At first glance, it's all about the mirror. But then you realize there is a beautiful Beidermeier desk and a cane chair that are in such perfect harmony. I also love the custom Benjamin Moore wall color in combination with the brown and white bedding. I'd say this room by designer Garrow Kedigian is "fairest of them all".

That is such a great shot! Great mirror, and great pieces in the rest of the room too :)
What a cool image. I really like his sense of color from the link.
Hi Melanie! I love it too.:)
Hi Jennifer and Brilliant-
I thought this image was especially nice and the backround is so clear!
Katie,
Fantastic picture! It is a great inspiration both for photography and house keeping.
Heather
I love that image! I thought about posting it too but you beat me too it! Great minds think alike ;-)
Hi Heather! Hehe! The cleanliness of the mirror you mean!
Hi HC!
HB has been getting better and better I think! Glad you stopped in!:)
Katie, HB is getting a little better but it's still not as great as it was around the time Marian McEvoy was editor. I still have all my old issues and still refer back to them!
Hi HC- I think you are right about that. I had stopped taking it after she left. But started up again with this new editor. I like the designer interview format, and the choices of designs to publish is a bit better too.
Wow, that is a lovely image Katie! It's a nice change from the standard interior shots :) Great post.

I like what you wrote here. It really IS all about the mirror at first glance, but then...oh, something THROUGH the looking glass, too!
I'm wondering if I might provide a link to your blog on my blogs. I'm enjoying your posts so much--and you're so welcoming and friendly to visitors. I'm still getting my spots up and running--at this point, I'm asking about 8 or 10 fave bloggers for linkage permission!
Dianamuse, I'm so glad you stopped by! Thank you so much for the kind words and for thinking of me. You may absolutely link up!
Katie, I love this! Very cool. An interesting idea for a painting...using mirrors in paintings is always fun!
Oh Anne! What a great idea! You should do it!:)
Great image, great post Katie!

Oh I'm completely in love with mirrors and keep buying them! This one you've posted is so pretty & so is the reflection :)
Thanks Anna and Vineeta! :)
To anon-
I am not sure how to email you! I tried the "reply" button, but it kicked it back. I think you have to supply your email on your blog profile page.
Does anyone have info on how to respond privately to an email without a person revealing their email address somewhere on Blogger?
What a great idea for a post, love looking through the mirror to see the wonderful bedroom.
Hi Robyn! I enjoyed the photo too!
I think I get to like these bamboo chairs. They are so popular in designers' blogland.
Great picture.
Just got this issue of House Beautiful and saw the rest of the article.
Lovely image, Lovely mirror, Lovely reflection of lovely things:-))

sweetheart, don't get me started on Ben Moore right now. I'm up to my elbows in his fabulous paint right now. For some reason I've taken it upon myself to paint my home (something to do with needing to change my mind as frequently as necessary to find just the right shade).
But yes, lovely image. I love the duality of the image!
yep i saw this too. great photo. but how about robshaw's new line for fall (seen on the bed)
