Something to look forward to! A new feature film directed by Anne Fontaine about the life of Coco Chanel is being shot, as we speak, in Paris and Normandy. Scheduled to come out in mid-2009...this year is starting to look up. Karl Lagerfeld is supervising costumes....and I can only imagine the beautiful sets if this photo is any indication. It pictures Audrey Tautou, who plays Coco, reclining in a Karl Lagerfeld created suit in a recreation of Coco's apartment in Paris. For more, click here.

This should be a wonderful movie- besides Coco herself (or Audrey as Coco I suppose) I can't wait to see the fashions and the sets!

Poor Coco! Her life has been brought to the stage on Broadway, and recently to Lifetime TV, both results disappointing. I hope this film finally does her justice! It looks very pretty indeed.

I had heard rumors that Keira Knightly was going to play Coco in this film. As much as I love the dear Kiera, Audrey will be absolute perfection! Can't wait!!!
