BOOKS!!!

I am really looking forward to this book. After visiting the de Young Museum to see the incomparable exhibit of Yves Saint Laurent fashion (posted here), I was very excited to learn this book was going to be coming out soon! You can read more about it here.

Hi Katie,

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog! I checked out your portfolio... you do beautiful work! Would love to get a bunch of us Northern California bloggers together in SF. It would be a fun blogging event!

Thanks for the "heads up" on the YSL book--I had intended to buy the catalogue, but procrastinated and there were no more!!!This will be just as good (almost), but so much more wallet friendly. Have a great week!

Sounds like a great book. I can't wait to see how they actually lived with all of those treasures. Thanks for the heads up.

My goodness how lush and rich! The floors, the walls! This is bound to be a great read--or look!

lately I have been feeling as though it is the rare interior, indeed, that checkered floors do not enhance.

Co-inky-dink...just flipped through a copy of this today. It's a "must have". We all know so much about their collection from the recent auction, and it just repeats their exquisite taste in art and design. Bit hard to emulate, because it's all just too fabulously expensive, (as we now know)!
