Busy Week, Overwhelming Actually....

So what do you do when you are trying to fit too much into a week (Art class chauffeuring, puppy shots, client projects, a traveling husband, school schedule foul-ups for a daughter, computer meltdowns... for starters) and then some other things try and push their way into the same week? Like the flu for example (two kids home from school)? Well...., I try to take a deep breath (or ten) and listen to some music that will make it a little more upbeat. This helped...... Especially drivng home on the freeway after taking my dear husband to the airport at 4:00 AM this morning.....windows open....wind rushing...radio loud.

Here's to a weekend where I hope to catch up with the music on!

I loved your post today. I feel like that most days and it's amazing what a little song can do for your mood. The joys of parenthood while trying to create a life for yourself. Challenging but worth the effort. Hope you have a relaxing weekend.

Music can be so curing ! I know! When I have a lot of work and being si tired of the busy day, I do need some good music to forget the difficult moments of the day and dream away!

Have a wonderful weekend,
Greet

I've done the hubby drop off at the crack of dawn with the dog in the car, all the windows open listening to my music and singing in of course my jammies, so I can relate...What were you wearing?

Hahaha! Thanks guys! I know we all have those days/weeks! And Marie: of course my jammies!

As a follow-up: we did have a puppy accident this weekend BTW. Nullah has gotten it into her head that her place to "get away from it all" is between the couch and the wall next to the floor vent where it is nice and cool, and where no one can reach her. Well...this time she was getting up and apparently got her i.d. tag stuck in the grate (caste iron I might add.) We heard a commotion and then she was screaming. OMG! We all panicked, not being able to see her or what was happening. Somehow she was able to drag the grate out from behind the couch, and in doing so managed to yank out one of her toenails. I was shaking from adrenaline, but realized she was not going to die so got all of the girls calmed down. Poor little Nullah. No more sleeping behind the couch for you!!!!! It is now blocked off with baby doors.Oy!

Hi Song of Style! So glad you found me!
Yes, my daughter is very much interested in art, film and animation. AAU is definitely a contender! Are you having a good experence there?

I've missed Train and when I heard this I was singing, dancing, and thinking life was going to be okay once more.
